I heard about TAG doing a custom Celsius show and I wanted to get on board. The Celsius is a great platform and a lot of fun to work with. Because I signed on late I only had 2 weeks to finish the piece. With that deadline I didn't want to risk trying to do a stitched piece, so I thought I would go back to painting. It was a lot of fun and it seemed to surprise people which I love :) 

There are so many amazing artists participating and I feel super lucky to be involved. The show will be on July 10th so if you're in the LA area come on out and support some great artists!

I saw a JLED Gamerita going for really cheap on ebay so I decided to pick it up. I thought making it look like a Koopa from Mario brothers would be fun (specifically the blue shells from mario kart) and of course I wanted to do it in stitched leather :)

I did this custom Joe Ledbetter Unicornasurus for the Last Unicorn Art Show in Chicago. Its hard to tell in the pictures but the thread on the body is opalescent and in the mane its iridescent. Its now up for sale on my etsy shop
